The National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), under the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) of the Republic of Korea, is convening one of Korea’s most significant global innovation programs in Washington, D.C. in June. The Korea Innovation Convergence Summit 2025, scheduled for June 18-19 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, will bring together a hand-selected cohort of Korean SaaS companies with high-growth potential and real-world deployments to engage directly with U.S. enterprise leaders, public-sector decision makers, and ecosystem stakeholders.
The event is part of Korea’s Global SaaS Market Penetration (GSMP) project, a government-backed platform aiming to assist Korean software businesses gain overseas pilots, collaborations, and market traction. Unlike a traditional demo day, the summit is purpose-built to provide concrete solutions via customized 1:1 matching, public-private talks, and concentrated demonstrations. The participating firms have been assessed for product maturity, commercial preparedness, and U.S. market potential-many having previous traction in Asia and early validation in North America.
Among the highlighted firms are Ecube Labs, whose smart waste management system is already implemented in over 30 U.S. cities, enabling IoT-enabled route optimization and solar-powered trash containers for municipal customers. Also joining is E8, provider of a real-time, web-based 4D CAD collaboration platform utilized by worldwide shipbuilders and infrastructure integrators. These firms demonstrate Korea’s prowess in environmental innovation and digital infrastructure, crucial concerns for American communities.
business automation will be a primary emphasis of the summit, with firms including Quintet Systems, TOBESOFT, and Ntuple showcasing technologies that integrate AI, low-code development, and backend orchestration to expedite business and government digital operations. In AI search and automation, LLOYDK will demonstrate their generative AI-powered knowledge assistant, currently implemented by Korea’s main airport authority. Neutune, whose AI-generated background music is now installed in Hyundai automobiles, and TiCON System, a scalable OTT platform with automated subtitle production, demonstrate Korea’s momentum in multimedia and creative technology.
Organized in partnership with the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA), Didim365, and beSUCCESS Media Group, the summit seeks to improve cross-border interaction between Korea’s innovation ecosystem and U.S. players across government, technology, and investment. Panel talks and keynote sessions will cover market entrance tactics, public-sector change, and compliance paths, but the focus remains on transaction flow and partnership building.
